About us

Quality in all we do

Juniper is led by a management team brought together to ensure a highly skilled and experienced (commercial and local authority) team operates in each strand of the business.

The Board of Directors is also formed to ensure all aspects of the business are constantly challenged and maintained to the highest levels of good governance and integrity.

Incorporated in April 2018,  Juniper operates with the social aspects of a local authority but with the business acumen and autonomy of the limited company that it is.  We work in parallel with the London Borough of Newham, where we are based, and although there is ingrained operational independence there is a shared ethos.

As part of the business continuous improvement programme we hold ISO accreditation in three strands across the business. This followed audits directly from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

  • ISO9001 Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management

Environment

  • We have an ever increasing use of plant-based foods on school menus including the introduction of “Meat Free Mondays”.
  • We have achieved our ISO14001 accreditation which illustrates our continuous improvement in environmental management.
  • All food packaging is Vegeware and fully compostable.
