Hello and welcome to Juniper Ventures

We are the leading provider of professional catering and cleaning services across East London and beyond.

You're in good hands

All the team at Juniper are fully trained to ensure that they possess the skills and the tools to achieve the highest standards possible in their roles.

You can always be assured that all Juniper employees carry details of their enhanced DBS check along with the issue date and reference number and will be easily recognisable in their official Juniper uniforms.

We are proud to reward our staff well for the important jobs they do with all staff who work for Juniper in locations within the London Borough of Newham being paid the London Living Wage as a minimum. This is currently £10.55 per hour.

We will always support colleagues who wish to develop themselves and progress their careers. In fact many of our management team started their careers as cleaners or kitchen assistants – so they really have first hand experience of front line service delivery and customer care and the challenges that their teams may find themselves facing.

Whatever your service need may be we will be on hand to discuss them and find the perfect solution within the resources available and look for ways to continuously improve the service in the future.   For schools we have a range of added value events and promotions for you to sample, for further information please read our brochure Juniper Ventures – Added Value Events.  Please be sure to speak to us so that we can bring fun and entertainment as well as learning opportunities to your pupils.

We are represented in several trade associations to keep up to date with industry developments. Our Cleaning Management team are members of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) and our Catering Management Team members of the  Lead Association for Catering in Education (LACA) – in fact our Managing Director has just completed his year as National Chair of LACA – “the school food people” and has spent his time championing the important work that the sector carries out to reduce childhood obesity and improve pupil outcomes through a hot, healthy and nutritious meal each day by speaking at events and lobbying Government Departments and MPs.

‘The quality of food offered to our children and Staff is of a high standard and is well presented. We have strong working relationships with the team within school and management allowing for flexibility when needed – ensuring we meet the needs of all our stakeholders.’

Our awards & accreditations

Juniper Ventures are very proud of their current accreditations and recognition for the services they deliver to it’s customers.  As well as being active members of LACA – the school food people and the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) we have recently received a reaccreditation for our Food for Life Catering Mark from the Soil Association and hand in hand with this we use wherever possible Fair-trade, Red Tractor products and fish only from sustainable sources.  Additionally we hold the Compassion in World Farming’s Good Egg Award.

But we will never rest on our laurels and we have in recent months been awarded the Catering Management Team of the Year national award by LACA and in the coming months we will be seeking more recognition to show the pride we take in what we do and also highlight the excellent work our teams on the front lines are doing to improve the services we provide and ultimately the outcomes for our customers.

Our happy clients

“I just wanted to thank you for today’s arrangements, it was a real success, the kitchen staff were brilliant.

Everyone really enjoyed the breakfast and cupcakes.”

Testimonial from Raheema Patel – Lead School Business Manager – Learning in Harmony Trust

‘Keshar and her team are by a country mile, the most professional, meticulous and cheerful cleaning team I have encountered in my long Newham career. She and her staff take a real pride in their work- and it shows! Exceptional performance such as this is rare in this sector!

Any visitor to Langdon will be impressed by the standard of cleanliness throughout the buildings. Despite the impact of over 2000 students each day, the building gleams afresh each morning. In every cleaning inspection carried out by the local monitoring team, the quality of Keshar’s and her team’s work has been applauded.

I will have worked in Newham schools for 37 years by the end of this term, and in all of that time I have never worked in a school where the cleaning can match the Langdon standard.’
